Russian Full Immersion 20

the beginning was chaotic. First day on friday with zjasmin was great. Result they put me in class with two youngsters who grew up with russian mother. So on monday this level was far out too high. Next day I got a teacher who started with 6th падеж, what felt as a degratation to A1. After a while she had to tell that she could not speak English or German, only Spanish. So I refused her as a teacher for the rest of the week. Katja immediatly could understand that. Then good cooperation with office master Katja: we rescheduled all, to private lessons with zjasmin. I had to reschedule some private plans in order to make good new scheme.

This work with her the rest of the weeks was wonderfully nice. I loved the lessons, I loved to do my homework. The richdom of djazmin is really remarkable. Understanding what you need, her interest in you as a person, her cultural knowledge makes it a marvellous good time, her knowlegde of English, German as well as Italian what a great person. If I would choose to work again with language International, I would ask for her again. I think she also liked to work with me.
The location of the school is really marvellous, ease and attractive.

The teacher was great, knew her subject, was always on time, good with responsiveness and communication. The class length and frequency was just right: about an hour, 4 days a week. The school location was excellent: very convenient to the center of St. Petersburg. I very much appreciated the school making student passes for us since it allowed us to go into some museums at a discounted rate. We had a wonderful experience with our host family: they explained the transit system, recommended some of the sights, and made some typical Russian food for us. Staying with a host family added a special dimension to our experience that I do not think would have been available through student housing or a hotel.

The language school and course were great experiences:

-classroom/facilities/ location the best possibles in the center of St Petersburg

-quality of teaching and the teachers super high

-small groups supported your learning

-activities i.e.a welcome lunch/ city tour were arranged and were a success

-the personnel at the language school were professional and friendly and spoke excellent English

Upon arrival at EDUCA Russian Language School I noticed that the location is central, modern and vibrant. There were several students from other parts of the world, all engaging intensely on improving their Russian skills. I liked the additional program the Language School offered, the wifi was shaky from time to time (but during class there is no time to be on your phone anyway) and the teachers were great and approachable.

I had three different teachers during my stay (4 weeks) and even though all of them had a different focus of what they prioritized when teaching Russian (vocabulary, speaking, grammar), I did learn so much and was pushed to really work on my skills that I feel a lot more confident in the language.
